Herewith I would like strongly to endorse the establishment of a strategic policy institute at Tel Aviv University with a Zionist orientation – an orientation that faces up to the fact that the defensive, apologetic post-Zionist narrative that we hear too often from Israel’s academia is doomed to failure; that Israel can survive only on the basis of its historical claim to this land, a claim that extends back thousands of years and continues right through the last 150 years to the present.
The establishment of such a center is of central importance; possibly, at some stage, the undersigned may become actively involved academically.
